PayPal Credit

I'm on a self-managed DMP and all but two (9 debts in total) have passed me to their debt collectors.  The debt collectors have been pretty easy to deal with via email and payment plans are set up.

I received a letter today from PayPal Credit.  I'm not sure if I'm overthinking it, but the wording seems to be a bit more severe than the others, specifically this part;
"Take legal proceedings against you and/or instruct a third party debt collection agency to begin further collections activity to recover the whole amount outstanding"

Is this just the standard wording?  Has anyone else had dealings with PayPal Credit and know which debt collector they use?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

    This is just a standard debt collection letter, as are all debt collection letters, the exception is when you get a "letter before action" which actually says we will take action against you.

    There have been lots of posts about PayPal on the forums, and to date, bearing in mind i`ve been on these forums for 10 years, we have not seen one court case from them, not one.

    Moorcroft is there DCA of choice, they never sell their debts, they never take action through the courts, to date, all they do is pass management of the accounts over to, mainly Moorcroft,  but there may be others as well.

    Thank you Sourcrates.
    Your advice on my posts along with the advice on other posts has helped ease my mind.  Just waiting to see what Shawbrook do with my reduced payments.
