Hi i am looking to release equity in my home does anyone know the best company to contact thanks

There isnt really a "best", Key Retirement are probably the biggest name in the equity release market, but there are lots of good smaller local firms out there also.
Try calling a few up, equity release is quite heavily regulated so you should find all are up to a decent standard.

Best to look for a independent ER adviser. The large companies are working on volumes and an element of hard sell (in my opinion). We compete with such firms and note that they do push things perhaps too much.Involving the rest of the family in the decision making process is importantI am a mortgage broker and IFA. Many local IFA firms and some whole of market mortgage adviser firms will do equity release. Being independent, they can select the right provider for your needs as there is no one best option.0
