Hi, we have had our solar PV system for quite a few years now and may sell our house in the near future. Our generation is good but I have been approached by a company to sell our panels and feed in tariff. They will remain on our roof and would give us a cash lump sum. Has anyone been given a price to sell their similar system ? Thanks - Paul

We've had similar posts here before ! General consensus has been that potential buyers wpuld want to drop their offer by rather more than you might get from the rentaroof peple !NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50

If you sold the panels, the prospective buyers could then face the problem in getting a mortgage that some rent - a- roof buyers have experienced.

Its generally a bad idea. Mortgage lenders see the owner of the panels as a third party interest on the property. It makes it difficult (but no impossible) for buyers to get a mortgage. It may put fringe purchasers off.0
