Our Solicitor Not On Mortgage Lenders Panel

As above.
Found out last week that our solicitor that we're using, they're local to us, is not on Aldermores lenders panel. Aldermore have said they said they sent out a form to them on the 21st of January but our solicitor has said they didn't receive this, they sent out another one last week but I'm yet to hear back.
Anyone been in the same situation before? Any idea how long it takes to get them added to it? We have a move in date of the 13th of March but starting to think we won't have everything sorted by then. Our application has been accepted subject to the solicitor being added.

Find another one. 13th March is totally unachievable now.0

Or just use a 2nd solicitor for the mortgage work and have them transfer the funds to the purchase solicitor. The lender should offer this as a dual representation. Will probably cost you about £500 but the original solicitors bill should reduce as they wouldnt be doing any of the mortgage work0

Ask the solicitors to call aldermore.
13th March is achievable, its tight but possible.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. So, according to our broker, our solicitor can't join the lenders panel due to them not having 4 partners in their firm. Is this right?
What are our options now? How easy is it to transfer to another solicitor when we've had our offer accepted using our current one?0 -
If you haven't started searches or enquiries then ask your broker for the solicitors list for the lender (smaller lenders tend to publish the approved solicitors) and move.
If any work has been started you'd be as well just using a 2nd solicitor for the mortgage work0 -

According to a link that my solicitor sent me on Aldermores website, Scottish solicitors only need 2 partners, my solicitor has 3 I believe.
Going back and forward to my solicitor and then my broker. STRESS0 -
