Can I get a mortgage with non standard income?

Hi I have income from property letting which is 50% of my income and from dividends from a corporate bonds, stocks and shares portfolio, the other 50%. I know I can raise a mortgage against dividends from a company of which I am a director but can I raise finance on dividends from a varied share portfolio? Thanks!!

    Will the dividends/stocks/bonds etc be sold in order to raise the deposit? 
    If so, then ultimately that income will drop and so probably not. 
    I think there are lenders out there who will consider it, there is going to be a bit of work needed upfront though I expect. I imagine it will be a little building society somewhere. 

    Have you spoken to a broker? It is probably not a bad idea if you havnt.

    Hi no they won't be sold to raise a deposit. I want to raise about 35% LTV on my main residence to purchase a holiday home abroad. I have spoken to a broker and they said loads of lenders take dividend income but I think he's muddling up what I have with self employed dividend income.....

    I assume (could be wrong as it is not something I have had to research before) that your income from those sources goes under dividend income on your self assessment, but I think it will be treated differently because it has come from shares etc you own in other companies rather than your own company. Its an interesting one, maybe one of the other brokers on here can answer better than I can, but at 35% LTV I would like to think someone would take a view on it.
