Asda advertising lager at £11 online, £12 charged in store. Ok it’s not the end of the world paying £1 extra. But if you based your shopping trip on several items and they all cost more in store it would soon add up. If you can’t get an accurate price online, are you then meant to phone your nearest store and get them to check every product you want? Why can’t they just keep the prices the same. Emailed Asda and received this email back, basically there not bothered.
Hello Jeff,
Thank you for your e-mail.
I am sorry to hear you have seen a product at a higher price in-store to our online service, I appreciate this is disappointing and may cause some confusion.
I can advise that our online service is run separate to our in-store service, they are two separate businesses. Although the majority of our online prices match what we offer in-store, some prices and offers may differ.
I do apologise if this causes any inconvenience but I do hope it answers your query.
Kind regards,
Luke
Asda Service Team

If they are more expensive when I get to the store, they stay on the shelf.1

Its a classic case of online shopping is not just missleading, yet is going to kill off the High street shops in the end, but the deal online isnt that much better, but once their gone their gone. And what will I be left with?
The only thing I can think of that cant do well online is hairdressing and barbers.0 -
