If on Octopus Agile which Gas Tariff do you use ?

Options
I am considering swapping over to Agile as I have Solar and Batteries and can easily time shift during peak times, but which Gas tariff do people then choose ?

You don't have to stay with Octopus for Gas, you can choose whichever supplier offers the best deal for you.
There may be an Octopus tariff that is suitable, but it is worth checking a comparison site for your expected gas usage.
We are with Zog for our Gas. Prices are reasonable and customer service excellent. And they don't question why we don't use any gas from May till September because all our hot water is heated by diverted electric.

Just remember though, if you go with a different supplier for Gas your gas meter won't be smart.
The smart gas meter talks to the smart electricity meter which then forwards the usage onward. (its only the electricity meter that is connected to the smart network)
If you're on different suppliers, then the two meters won't talk to each other so you're left with a dumb gas meter and will have to give manual readings.

    Same here.

Although our new gas "smart" meter doesn't appear to be too smart.  The reading on our account for last Thursday is 33500kwh. :p

When I came to the end of my fixed period, Octopus sent me an email that did not reference Octopus Agile at all. I sent an email to Octopus who tell me that they need to set up particulars for the new tariffs manually. Consequently, I asked to remain in Octopus Agile but to switch the Octopus gas tariff to the one of my choosing.

If anyone is looking for the Octopus tariffs, there's a link at the bottom of the 'About Us' page.
