What do i do when they won't acknowledge my letters?

Options
Hi

Has anyone else experienced problems with MBNA!!

I have written to them twice telling them that i have set up a DMP with CCCS and they just won't acknowledge the fact. CCCS have sent them my proposal twice and they deny receiving anything from them. I have had the same phone conversation four times with them. They keep calling me to ask why i haven't made payments and i keep saying that i've set up the DMP. My first letter to them had a token cheque enclosed, which they cashed and still deny receiving the letter.

They have sent me another threatening letter today and it's really stressing me out. I'm geting really frustrated with them. I haven't slept for weeks. Is it worth writing to them again??

Thank you in advance for any advice!!!

    Hi and welcome :hello: ,

I would send the letter again and by Recorded delivery, that way you have the proof that they have recieved it.

I had dealings with MBNA about 11 years ago and the same as you I had major problems with them.

They are terrible and I will never deal with any of their products again.

    Hope that helps
  • That is very helpful, i will certainly write to them again and make sure its recorded this time.

    Thank you very much
