Pepper Mortgages

Hi all
Has anyone had dealing with Pepper Mortgages recently?
We have had to go through them for several reasons, we had a DIP within a week & all sounded good. But upon application our mortgage advisor has said they may still reject us!!
We have sent him all the relevant paperwork they require last week, but haven't heard anything yet! What type of reasons would they actually reject you? As they are meant to help people with adverse credit, self employed etc.
I'm so worried we are going to get rejected! The person buying ours have already instructed the survey & the people who we are buying from are elderly & keen to move into their retirement property, I hate the though of letting everyone down!!
Any advice would be much appreciated! :-)

A decision in principle doesn't have them reviewing much information beyond the credit report and the basic numbers keyed.
The might look at bank statements and change their mind based on spending habits. Too much gambling then you might get declined for instance.
They will also ask for a summary of why your previous adverse happened. Depending on the reasons they might not like what happened.
ACG probably uses them more than most around here so he might say different but personally I find them a very understanding lender and the underwriter is generally happy to try to do what they can to get a case through. I don't get the impression they are looking for ways to decline cases ( I definitely get this feeling with other lenders)
If your spending is clean and your adverse was explainable then it will probably be fine2 -
I am a big fan of Pepper. We use them regularly.
We have never had an application declined with them that I can think of. There is still a chance you could be declined, but if your broker has done their job properly then I wuold say you are 99% of the way there.
If they do decline you there should still be a Plan B and C.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
