Extended Warranty: Added Care from John Lewis

We are buying several new appliances (oven, hob, fridge, freezer, etc) and John Lewis offers a five year extended warranty called 'Added Care'. We usually avoid extended warranties, because they're not good value for money, but we were wondering if the 'Added Care' that John Lewis offers may be the exception to the rule? Any thoughts/advice would be gratefully received. Many thanks. MLS
