Purchase price renegotiated - mortgage offer?

FTB, so maybe a bit dumb about this, but:
I've just successfully renegotiated the purchase price on a flat I'm in the processing of buying, based on some work that needs doing. I'll still be borrowing the same amount, and my LTV is changing only minutely; do I need to go back to my broker and change anything to do with my mortgage offer?

  • If you have renegotiated your purchase price and as a result will be paying less deposit (which it sounds like) then yes you need to let your broker know and also your solicitor as the paperwork for the mortgage will need to be accurate.

Perfect, thank you! Solicitor already knows, but I shall contact the broker now.
