Bank Accounts Post Bankruptcy Discharge

I'm due to be discharged from my Bankruptcy on 15th April and once I've performed the post BR credit file clean up, ensuring my old accounts are all marked as satisfied or partially satisfied with nil balances, I'd like to switch bank if possible.
How have others found opening up a bank account post bankruptcy? Success / failure stories of applying for non-basic bank accounts post discharge?
I'm employed full time and living with my partner, with whom I'm not financially associated (he has an excellent credit history which we are preserving, so don't have any joint accounts).

I had an short (6 month)IVA not bankruptcy, but it took around 5 years to get offered full accounts with high street banks, and it was only after the last default dropped off was I offered an overdraft by Nationwide.

It's usually after 6 years when the BR comes off your credit report.0
