So in the old forum I always ‘thanked to say thanks 😊 and also to know exactly where I was up to with the comps entered. How do I do that on this forum? Any ideas? Also because the thanks haven’t transferred i now don’t know which ones I’ve entered and don’t want to duplicate myself 😩

You can sort of use the "Comp-liment" button - if you haven't clicked it then the count will go up by one when you do, if you have already used it then the count will drop by one. I don't know why there isn't a thanks button in the comp section as they have it in others5 -
Ah ok, that’s helpful, thanks 😊0

I do it just for fun and whatever I win is a bonus3 -
Bit radical I know but how about just jotting down on a bit of paper the details of the last one entered and changing it whenever you do more.
Or keeping it "electronic" do the same on a word doc etc
Or save the last page you have entered as a bookmark but amend the title to show the last one entered say "TAB 17 02 ETHNIC" (that's the date and last answer at the moment but you could use the mag title etc)

If I go to the regular competitions board, against say the puzzler thread, it shows say '4 new'. I click on to the puzzler thread and it takes me straight to the first of the four new posts, which are the only ones I need to enter. I find it so simple. I used to bookmark the puzzler thread and the take a break thread, but now I simply bookmark the regulars board and visit it once a day.7
