Arrow Debt Collectors

I have 2 debts with Arrow totalling around £5000. They have had it for quite sometime now but I've been burying my head in the sand.

I have just come into some money, £3000 to be precise and was told that I could possibly make a settlement offer.

I understand that they are under no obligation to accept an offer, but was wondering if anybody has had any dealings with them and if they are a company open to this sort of offer.

TIA

There a debt purchasing company, of course they will be open to offers.
National Debtline have a template letter on their site just for this purpose.
Look under "sample letters", all offers must be made in writing, all accepted offers must also be in writing, you must have acceptance in writing, before you give them one penny.
Usual starting point is around 30% of the outstanding debt, you can always up your offer, remember, this is more of a marathon, than a sprint, expect to play letter tennis for a while, its a good time of year to make offers, nearing the end of the tax year, they will want there books cleared for next year.
