Because of the nightmare wait of getting a mortgage offer through I thought I’d start 6 months before that way il have a 6 month valid offer in the bag and I can lay back and relax knowing it’s all in hand

Ah I was under the impression they were 6! My last mortgage took 14 weeks to go to offer hence starting early, and then the build slipped and we had to extend our offer to which they decided to reduce the amount on the next offer :@ the stress levels were HIGH to say the leastACG said:Remortgage offers are generally only valid for 3 months, you are a little bit early to be applying but there is no harm in being prepared. 0
