Hello all
Been around here for ages, (2008) and life's been quite tumultuous! Change of user name as lost log in. doh!!
We've been seriously looking at our finances and contemplating what to do to plot an early retirement.
Household consists of one husband (f/t employment), me (f/t employment) one dog (no income), extended household consists oft younglings, both now away from home and largely financially independent.
We've got some debts, we have a pretty nice lifestyle, but are looking to find all the spare pennies we can to keep having a good fun adventure filled.life AND find c£600 (!!!?!?!) or so to overpay the mortgage and retire 10 years earlier.
So I need a cunning plan!
Who's with me?
*Sneaks off to do budget to find out where my money is leaking from*

Lemoontree I am. Need to up my focus. X
Did a wee review of spends last night. Lots on corner store, co-op and garage spending. Not smart.
Also lots spend on eating out/takeaway. So today I've done a food list, done a meal plan (!) And got some treats out so we can picnic today at the beach in the camper rather than have lunch out. Should save £20-30 we don't get many days off together so we often go.out for lunch. This way we can go out for.lunch but not spend. Cunning huh.
Washing is air drying and I need make a shopping list (small) for fruit, we've lots veg and things to make meals.
Looking at swapping broadband.
Didn't use car yesterday but took it out today to pick up prescription and me and haggis had a big walk. I parked.just outside the village and we walked through the park.
No money spent.
Hope the sun stays out!
Happy Saturday I'm off to box up soup for lunches for the freezer.
Unpacking from the last adventure, so much washing. Who knew ski gear took so long to dry. Even if it's kid sized!!!
