## I had a bit of an problem with the crossword and couldn't get an appropriate answer for one of the six shaded squares (letter A).  The other 5 letters all seemed to fit with the clues around them, so I think 2. is correct, but would be grateful if someone could confirm.

I am guessing it is 5 down - I couldn't get anything right for that either and I agree that Cahors is the most likely answer!

I think 5 down is Cavort so A is correct
