The old forum had MANY issues, as a user you probably wouldn't have noticed but the old software was over 10 years old.
It had to be updated to keep up with increased security laws to protect your privacy. There was also the issue that certain users couldn't even use the site because their IP address (IPV6) was too new to be recognised. So, although it may not have looked broken to those lucky enough to be able to view the forums, it was.0
