Remortgage - Help to Buy

We are looking to remortgage and, in doing so, borrow more to repay Help to Buy in full. Mortgage advisor is saying that we are severely limited in lenders due to us having Help to Buy.
Appreciate limits if we were keeping the HTB, but surely we have more options if getting rid of HTB.
NB, we would be looking at a loan to value of 79%.
Anyone who can share experience re this? What we’re being quoted is expensive and advisor has made a number of errors to date. Don’t want to sign up for something if she’s advising poorly on this too!

If the whole HTB loan is being paid off and the LTV will be under 80% you should have few lender restrictions. Only those who won't do debt consolidation over 75% should be avoided.I am a mortgage broker. We did this late last year. Managed to get a decent rate with TSB for 3 year fix and paid off the the HTB.0
