I found their staff to be very nice indeed but they are crippled by their system and can’t really do anything to help. They have to re-enter your data a lot so I wonder if that’s how they end up with so much chaos. They do seem to have very good rates though, but I feel your pain. They were a nightmare for me also.
Thanks for your reply and congratulations on your offer!I am so jealous that you can throw Barclays out of your mind :-)

Oh sorry, may I please ask if they had requested for more supporting docs after your valuation or was it a straight offer right after the valuation? How long did you wait for after the valuation please? @dbg78

It is difficult to say because I got different info each time I spoke to them and so did the broker. The developer told me the survey was done on the Wednesday though, and then on the Tuesday I got the offer. According to the broker though, the valuation was done twice because they had the wrong address. After the valuation was booked they didn’t ask me for anything, they just sent the offer when they were ready.

Thanks very much for sharing the info @ dbg78

I got the feeling that they have done all the assessments and checks before they instructed the valuation. Hopefully I will join you soon!
