Mortgage application documents

Hi I have checked three times with nationwide and I find it odd that they only want one of my payslips and my pip award. They don’t want bank statements and they said the verify it electronically if they can but I don’t get my income there. I use Halifax.

I am finding the application process not to be as stressful as I thought it would be.

Anyone else like this? I just find it weird.

Dont worry about it, it is not uncommon. Give them what they ask for, if they come back for more you can give it to them.

As long as you bank with a major bank, which you do, they will be able to verify your income. If for some reason your income doesn’t verify they will request further evidence.

Can I go through with full application before offer is accepted. We have offered 6k less and waiting to hear back. If we didn’t go tomorrow for application we would have to wait until March.

Right so now the mortgage application is just about ready to go. All the legwork is done and we are waiting to hear about the offer acceptance.
