Hi, all:
I've got regular salary pay in UK, but I've also got rental income in China. Without accounting for the foreign rental income i couldn't get the mortgage loan amount I need.
Anyone know which lenders accept foreign income, specifically Chinese RMB income?

Morning. To my knowledge, there is nobody who would accept something like this
Foreign employed income would be acceptable with some lenders but additional income such as rental would be very difficult to include. As an example, even if it is UK rental income, only certain portions of it can be used and has to have met other certain rules.I am a mortgage broker and IFA. As above.
Many years ago, I had a similar client with rental income from Jordan who (eventually, working with his accountant) worked around this by starting a UK ltd co and passing the overseas rental income through it.
I'm no accountant so do not know the specifics. Plus he was an HNI client (with the rental income in question being approx 7k/month) so any expenses in that regard were probably worth it and he had access to lenders that might not be available to yourself .0 -
I have done mortgages for expats and people with the income in foreign currency whethjer here or abroad but I am yet to find a lender that would accept a renmtal income from abroad especially from the country like China that many lenders see as a high risk country0
