Redmel's 2020 Diary: (Nearly) Halfway There.

I have decided to start a new diary for 2020. I fell off the wagon over Christmas, but thankfully not by too much, and added a bit of debt to the pile. However, in January, I did manage to pay a few small debts off, so it has offset the added debt a smidge.
We started off with £31495.52 in debt and as it stands today we owe £19350.65, as the title suggests, we are nearly halfway there. We could have cleared a lot more had we been stricter, had we not wasted money and had we not added a bit to the pile... BUT we are getting there. One HUGE thing is that husband is a bit more on board than he used to be and is actually 'helping' to pay the debt down a bit more, although he does still struggle with frivolous spending.
I CAN DO THIS - bring it on 2020.
I'm going to add my list of debts here:
V12 (£185.04) £30.84
V12 (£282.37) £25.67
Car (£8162.60) £248.65
Lowell (£439.80) £10
Vanquis (£900) £45
Barclaycard (£1200) £35
STA (£937) £10
SLC (£1602.55) £10
SLC (£1642.89) £10
Bike (£2136.40) £90.14
Paypal (£722.14) £40.81
Argos (£280) £60
Argos (£750) £75
Paypal (£110) £27.50
Number of debts paid off 6/21
I'm going to add my monthly debt total payments, along with overpayments, here:

After much fiddling about and editing of my first post, I finally have all my facts and figures up.
Positives from January: We paid off a bailiff debt, from an old cc, and a small debt that now means dh's guitar is fully paid off. We also survived a whole month of dh working away...
February plans: Clear the smallest V12 debt asap. I've also signed up to runyourownpace for the 25 mile challenge!! I'm sure I can do it... Also dh and I are off to Spain for a weekend right at the end of February. I need to try and do a bit of MB or eBay selling to cover spending money for this.

Min payments have come off a few debts today. they were pending from Saturday, so I already added the correct amounts into the debt list.
I did week 2, run 1 of C25K today and managed to stay away from the junk food. I also booked eldest son's A2 bike licence in with the local motorcycle training place, He just needs to get his theory test done asap.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Finance: My first ever snowball payment has been allocated in YNAB. I am allocating them on the dates that the paid off debts would be due and then I will transfer any/all snowball to an overpayment category and pay it off the next debt that I am attacking. This means it will be tracked in the YNAB data so I can see how much I am paying off each month.
I'm far too excited about this
Fitness: I completed week 2 of C25K and will start week 3 tomorrow. It feels good to be doing it although my hips/legs are a bit achey today!
