How long should RTB take AFTER accepting offer?

Hello
I returned my RTB acceptance form on 19th November 2020 which council confirmed that they received. Since then nothing seems to have happened and I'm still waiting for them to send documents to my solicitor.
I requested several times a time frame on how long this should take, however they won't commit and all I get from my case officer is "I'm not sure when legal will send out the draft documents but can advise when I get an update". The only 'update' I got was recently I was asked to sign and return the acceptance form again, which would suggest to me that they lost the original or totally forgot about this application resulting in nothing happening for 2 months.
Am I being an eager beaver, or is there an actual time frame they must adhere to at this stage? There is plenty of RTB info on time frames regarding actually receiving the offer, but after that it just seem 'as and when', and appears the council can take as long as they want.
The longer they take, the longer I am at a financial disadvantage. How long does it usually take from accepting offer for the council to then send documents to solicitor please? Is there an actual time frame they must adhere too before I can serve RTB6/RTB8 to resolve issue of rent please?
Thank you

Oooh i don't know but will watch your thread eagerly... I'm just waiting to see that I can get a DIP for a mortgage then will be sending off the acceptance forms asap. Mine is right to acquire but basically the same rules just differs with the discount.
My HA went 3 weeks over the timescale for sending me the offer price so I'm not holding out much hope for them to be quick in the next stage. It is frustrating because every additional week is another £101 rent I have to pay.
Good luck and keep me updated!Mortgage started August 2020 £69,700

When we did RTB we began in early May and completed end January, it's an incredibly long process.
I'd also suggest looking at 5 year fixes otherwise you'll have a deed of postponement to deal with at remortgage which was problematic as no one seemed to know what one was.Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023
Make £2024 in 2024...0
