Halifax Mortgage Hard Search

Hi Everyone,
Me and my partner are currently purchasing our first home together and I can honestly say it is the most stressful thing I have ever done. 23 weeks later and we are nearly there!
Our solicitor has requested the money from Halifax so it is ready for 7th February. I have a credit card with £600 on which Halifax are aware of however I stupidly made a payment 1 day late this month (have now set up a direct debit so I’ll never forget again!). I have been looking for forums on here to see whether or not Halifax carry out another credit search before completion - turns out they carried out a soft and hard search yesterday. Thankfully the late payment on the CC isn’t showing. Will this be the only check they carry out!? I found an old forum on here that advised Halifax don’t carry out any more searches before completion but they must’ve changed their ways.
I have emailed our mortgage broker for advice but you know how it is, I cannot stop worrying!

yes they carry several out, even on the day the release the cashDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
