That's all sounding positive to me and given that they are going to instruct the valuation, once the items are back, you can be pretty sure that you aren't going to now fail due to the previous credit issues.
Halifax have a system, whereby you they filter you down to a lower LTV if you don't fit, what you have asked for, so are usually okay, once you get to the point you are now at.

Look carefully how Halifax treat their existing customers and their retention deals.
They penalise you as your mortgage gets smaller.0 -
