Payday loan defaults

Hi all,
My partner and I are first time buyers, trying to get a HTB mortgage. The property we’re looking at is £250,000 and we have £30,000 deposit. We have a combined salary of £53,500.
My partner’s credit is perfect however I have 7 defaults totalling approximately £2000
(6 are pay day loans and 1 is a utility bill)
5 are from 2015/16, 1 is from 2017 and 1 is from 2018.
We have spoken to L&C but they couldn’t really tell us anything except apply and see what happens. I was just wondering if this is possible and if we can approach any broker?

Approach an independent whole of market adverse mortgage broker, you need specialist advice.
L&C only deal in straight forward cases and many people have had issues with them.
There are a few brokers who post on these boards and one also deals with H2B.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0
