Sterilised stain ??

The other night I bottled my first batch of homemade wine
and it is very tasty.
It was very late when I had finished, so I gave the kitchen a quick tidy up.
The trouble is this... I left my bottle of washing up liquid on my worktop, unbeknown to me, sitting in sterilising solution. Now I have a perfect washing up bottle shape stain in my worktop
The stain is only visible if the worktop is completely dry. I have one of those dark blue speckled style worktops... it is not high gloss.
Anyone any ideas how to get this out ?? As I cant live with the same washing up liquid bottle on my worktop for the rest of my life

Have you tried some oil - anything will do - veg, baby, but probably not sump
Alternatively, why not try In My Home board? Edit - did a search and found this.

the link can be done like this:
type the sentence including the word you want to use as the link
highlight the word you want to use (click and drag)
click on the little world and chain symbol in the message box top bar (the one after the capital A and before the mountain range picture)
when the other box pops up you can insert the url of the site you want to link to. you may need to remove the extra http:// to get the link to work properly. click ok and then the word in your message should now be a blue link
its called a hyperlink so if my instructions dont work for you then try a search on hyperlink and see if there are better instructions
I am sure there is a list of tricks somewhere on the site but darned if I can find it!

I have tried olive oil...and hey presto... it worked. :T
I will just keep doing that for now.... as I think that once the worktop has been wiped a few times the mark will come back... but maybe not.
Many thanks Penny0
