Using credit card to pay BR fee?

Sorry Bradders but I pointed this out as you gave out of date information which could easily concern someone who thinks they are going to have to go in front of a judge when they're not.
Also it's inaccurate to say that the OR sees personal bankruptcies as small fry. Firstly the OR deals with FAR more bankruptcies than company liquidations, and secondly, there is more likelihood of a bankrupt having assets than a company that has been wound up owing money. Companies don't often own property, bankrupts often do.0 -

Well that was bad wording on my part, I never went "in front of a judge" but the paperwork did. I still had to wait at the county court whilst it was looked at though. In any case nobody is going to give a toss that you had to use money drawn off a credit card to pay the fee, at least we can agree there surely.0 -

OR unlikely to be interested. It is more about survival. I didn't go crazy but I withdrew what cash I could to survive on for the couple of months after bankruptcy and that was mainly overdraft money. Technically I shouldn't have touched it but then wouldn't have been able to afford my outgoings. It just went into my general debt.0
