Mortgage deed witness had abbreviated his name

Evening,

I am about to hand in the paperwork to complete on my house sale and just realised my friend who signed and witness the mortgage deed and transfer form has abbreviated his first and second name for example John Peter Smith is written as J P Smith will this cause any issues and should I get him to write his full name above or below?

Signature should be his usual signature (whether that is legible or involves abbreviations), but you should also provide his full name. Doesn't matter who writes it.
