in Cutting tax
First time filling in my self assessment as I'm being seconded to the US for work this year. The company has an accountant that has submitted the tax return on my behalf.
I was curious and wanted to take a look on the Government Gateway website but when I clicked on self assessment it says
"You need to request access to Self Assessment
This may be because you have deregistered from Self Assessment online."
I have a UTR and I think (though can't remember 100%) I previously have access to that. Is it possible that my accountant has got access on my behalf and dereigstered me? I could request access again but I don't want to mess up the process.
