So can you recommend any good drop shippers or send me to a website that can tell me all I need to know?

    Thanks

Sorry, I can't really help you. As I said, Google is your friend (a quick search for dropshipping brings up lots of good information), so with a bit of searching and reading, you'll get the information you need. Please don't expect someone to come up with all the answers so such broad questions. I didn't come across a site that covered all the questions I had - it involved a lot of reading.

However, if you have specific questions about dropshipping, and want to sell goods in a specific market, I can help you by answering questions and providing dropshipper details. But you've been fairly vague so far, so sorry, I can't help.
  • I do, go for these.

There is no benifit to me just take a look. I have used them in the past.

Here is the best place to go - www.dropshipforum.co.uk

I have been doing it (or trying to do it) for ages. The hard part is selling the stuff. If you can get customers, you're laughing, but it is pretty much impossible to do. I have set up two websites, but nothing sells really.

I wouldn't say it's impossible - it depends on your market (i.e. your competition), and also how well you're able to promote your site, whether it be via paid ads or good search engine listings / results.

It takes time and effort - it's no 2 minute wonder job - but it is an inexpensive way of getting into selling, as you don't have to worry about buying stock that you may never sell etc.
  • Dropshipping and wholesale is great money if u find the right places and websites, ive been doing it for 2 years and paid of my loan and debts
  • its possible to make money by doing drop shipping, choose carefully what you want to sell, your market/customers, your competitors and the most important is your suppliers. your suppliers are your business partners because you will be relying on them heavily.

ive just started my drop ship business a few months ago to help with my spendings and living cost as a uni student. business is slow but steady mainly due to my busy uni works. treat it like a proper business, its not any 2 min instant success like what some online ebooks claimed.

in my opinion i would be friend with your suppliers, and keep looking for more good ones to compare with the prices. choose those are genuine is the hardest part so be very careful. there are quite a few good online trading websites you can find all sorts of suppliers and worth to have a look. its true that many sellers are using the same dropshippers so setting price is determining your success. but for what im selling i can see some greedy old xxxxx trying to price their items too high and its not too difficult to compete, research and research should help you setting up your business, good luck

I did dropshopping for a couple of months at uni, a few years back.

I noticed a nokia phone was £50 everywhere but Orange online was doing them for £25 in a promotion.

So I listed them on ebay at £35 and made near £10 profit on each phone. Soon realised I was on to something and paid for feature listings, leading to more sales. Made a small fortune which paid for my nights out but like everything it came to an end when Orange didn't want me to buy so many phones!

It was a struggle getting the last two orders shipped but I just changed my debit card and then called it a day. It was fun and would recommend it.

All my customers could tell it was from Orange but nobody complained. They got the second best price in the country. I think one person left a rather neutral statement on my feedback but he ticked positive feedback.
