No I have never thought that

I am able to get cards from Uk friends living temporarily abroad for far less hassle.,

I also like the idea i can sit in the comfort of my home and browse the cards , you get more choices.

Yes they can be more expensive but sometimes cost is the least important.

Also if you forget to post a card it can help you out in those situations. I would rather a Moonpig card on the right day that a hand sent card a few days late.
You're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *
  • Personally I’m not bothered either way but given a choice I would rather not receive a card as they end up in the recycling 24 hrs later .

I used moonpig to send a typed card on two occasions: the first time, I was in India for a fortnight (due to work), and the second time I was in hospital. So I doubt the recipients felt too hard done by!

If I thought someone was questioning the amount of effort I put into buying and sending a greetings card, it would be the last one they ever got from me.
One of my great Aunts used to look at cards she received and sneer if she thought insufficient money had been spent.
    Not a nice trait.
ha! I once bought a card from Wilko it said:
" I wasted 10p on this card so hope it's appreciated!!"  The recipient loved it!!!

Pity it cost more than 10p!!
