Hi guys I really need some advice.
I work 36 hrs a week and I've had a very account for years, round but two December's ago I lost my dad as he had been ill a while, last year was horrendous I was having meltdowns etc over loosing dad, I started a new relationship Whixh has had a massive impact in a good way on my mental health , anyway before the relationship I started missing my very payments so they said what we can do is put a hold on the account till your feeling better etc, get back in touch and we can talk and see what we can do to help, so as time has gone on I've had a letter to say I'm £320 in arrears, this is really worrying me, I've no idea who to speak to or where to start, and last thing I want to happen is for my mental health to start to struggle again like it did with loosing dad.
If anyone has any help or advice that will be massively appreciated.

Hi,
Catalogues are not very accommodating when it comes to payment plans, whats the reason for the arrears, where has the money been going ?
If you can afford to pay off the arrears over time, write to them and agree a repayment plan, if you can`t, its likely the debt will be outsourced to a collector, possibly internal collections will contact you first though.
Once collection agencies are involved, debts can be repaid at a rate you can afford, over a period of time of your choosing, you just have to arrange it, and be able to afford it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Well its only one debt, perfectly easy to sort out yourself, debt charities may help, but are extremely busy helping people with large debts and multiple creditors, you only have the one debt, write and arrange to pay what you can afford, its very simple.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
