Name on mortgage but not on deeds -help

I got divorced in 2007 and my name remains on the mortgage with my ex but a transfer of equity was completed so I’m not in the deeds. He was supposed to take me off the mortgage so I’m not sure how I was advised By the solicitor to do the TOE first or how that even happened.
He’s subsequently missed payments and I have an awful credit rating, he is unable to remortgage into his sole name even 13 years on. I tried to take this up with my solicitor A few years ago and they were rude to me and made it difficult for me to find anything out. It was a consent order that said he had to use his best efforts to release me. It’s interest only mortgage well above what he can afford to borrow.
I remarried and we had two properties bought solely in my new husbands name due to my situation. He had an affair and we are now divorcing. It looks like I don’t get a fair share of the equity of those properties as they were in his sole name and I’ll have to go to court over it.
I’m in such a mess. I can’t buy anywhere else and I’m trapped at the mercy of my ex, and now have this whole divorce case to worry about.
I don’t know what to do. Can I ever be free of this?

12 more years
So I’m basically screwed? Why didn’t they advise me if the consequences?0 -
What are the exact details of the financial settlement from your first divorce with respect to the house?
How long were you married to your second husband? Until you reach a financial settlement with the second divorce it might be worth registering your interest in the current marital home with the Land Registry.0 -
The first divorce is was that he took the house and took me off the mortgage - no money in it for me. So I signed over the TOE on the advice of my solicitor expecting everything to be done his end and instead he’s spent 13 years making late payments on the mortgage and on other things so has zero credit rating. I wonder as he hasn’t fulfilled his part of the consent order if I have some redress to then go back on the deeds to protect myself? No doubt when the mortgage ends the house will be repossessed.
I’m going to contact the lender today and find out how long is left on the mortgage and also speak to my ex.
If he can’t take me off I’m going to see If I can get back on the deeds with land registry After the current divorce is sorted. I think my solicitors gave me bad advice all those years ago so I’m also going to see if they’ll help me resolve it. I think I’m out of the timeframe to make an official complaint or negligence but I’m also goi g to find that out.
The current divorce (my life is a mess right😅) is a whole other thing and actually I’m not so worried about that0
