Half Price Iron

I know its really boring - but my iron took one look at the huge pile of clothes waiting to be ironed tonight, and decided to give up the ghost. Typical.
Anyway, spotted this one at Argos (of course!), reduced from £49.95 to £24.97 - code 4109158. Being generally wary of Argos's "deals" I checked up on it, and the same iron is selling on Amazon for about £45. :money:
Edit: Got it, and it looks really good - they didn't have any to reserve at Teesside Retail Park, but there were a few stacked up on the shelves at the Middlesbrough store - apparently they're "very popular" at the moment!

Thanks for the tip, I have been looking for a decent new iron for a while, but not prepared to spend a lot of money on something quite so boring. I have checked my local store and there is one there waiting for me.
Just what i needed. :j0 -

Have to say that, so far, am rather pleased with it. Has a decent cable with it as well - my hubby reckoned I could probably cook the tea and iron in the dining room at the same time, the cheeky git!! :rolleyes:0

WHAT have you done with the ones we picked up from BOOTS on line for a fiver...
This was only a couple of months ago. Mines still in the box in the cupboard under the stairs. Stop all this ironing! I feel guilty..
Chill out sisters. Get him to do it.

I found a cordless/corded BUSH iron in Instore for £15, took it out of the box and my inital thought was "what do I expect for £15?" But it's actually fantabbiedoozie, whizzed through the ironing in double time today."And crawling on the planet's face,
Some insects called the human race,
Lost in time, and lost in space,
And meaning"0
