Kent reliance mortgage

Hello,
I have had an aip with Kent reliance through a broker but after reading reviews I'm worried that it won't go through. We have had credit issues, a default over 3 years ago for £44 and a run of missed payments with one unsecured lender over 12 months ago. We have a 10% deposit made up of savings from my student loan (I work full time also and use my wages for any uni costs then try to save the loan money when I get it) and a gift from parents other than this we do tend to spend all our wages each month but only part of it is for debts, (£4400 cc debt). Does anyone have experience with Kent and can shed some light on timescales and likelyhood of it being rejected after checks?
Thanks in advance

Did you use a broker? if yes was it from the estate agent?
Total debts?
Total income?
Other bad credit such as CCJ e.t.c??

I use kent a lot as I have a lot of shared ownership clients and they are good for adverse.
Default over 3 years ago is fine as long as it is cleared prior to application. The missed payments should also be ok if no missed payments in the last 12 months.
Have only had one kent case turned down over the years and that was because the client thought it would be ok to take out car finance after the application went in and because his first payment wasn't until March no one would notice. They did notice and the affordability was screwed as a resultI am a Mortgage Adviser

Total debt is £4400. Total joint income £48000 hubs gets regular o/t but its a new job so haven't mentioned that just in case it is stopped anytime soon. Went b/r nearly 10 years ago and ended 12months later and surrendered a property with the b/r.
Broker was recommended, private broker not estate agents or big broker firms. Deposit £15000 mortgage £150000.
Do you know what the timescales are after sending documents to broker?0 -

As long as you have declared everything to the broker, there must be a reason they have recommended Kent Reliance
