hey guys
ok so this is my third try at changing financial habits but this time is different. This time I own my own house and I am dammed if i am going to lose it.
Am really happy as have just managed to reduce home insurance from £47 a month to £19 a month by just phoning them and saying I was going to leave!!
BT next on hitlist!!

my soa is a bit of a mess at the moment as recently lost my job. not getting all the benefits i am entitled too and also, I am using CAP to help me negotiate etc.
My main problem now is BT phone bill is currently £55 a month and I have to get it down to £20 but if i can help it, I need to keep internet (and wireless as I dont have a phone socket near where the computer is). to both job search and help amuse my daughter (since she has lost her mobile, sky tv, afterschool clubs etc).
Am currently putting about £20 into my new payg mobile (o2). Can I swap to one of the sim cards where you put in £15 a month and you get lots of free text whilst still keeping my current number?
I am a nightmare impulse buyer in tesco. Want to start shopping online to weed out all the stuff which is non essential which I just cant seem to do instore (and yes, i think paying delivery is worth it in comparrison - especially if i order in advance and get the cheapest one!!) If I order in advance, when do they take the money out of your account? ie, if i place an order now to be delivered next week...when would they take the money? At point of order or on day of delivery.
Not checked the whole PPI thing yet but have loans dating back 4 years and have always paid the ppi so maybe i can get that back. have been waiting to find out the outcome of the court case before claiming my bank fees too but maybe i should push ahead. am worried that i will have to try get another bank account tho and with mess am in, dont think i will be able toDFW 228 LONG H 68

what went wrong before.....mmmmm, my salary went up quite a bit so suddenly making the payments...not such a problem. Bought a house and actually reduced my outgoings as the mortgage cheaper than rent. This all meant i had more money than before.
Also, i just 'forgot' about the difference between needs and wants and quite honestly didnt care what i was buying. Stopped focusing on emergency situations and stopped coming on here!!!!! (i know, therein lies the problem!)DFW 228 LONG H 68
