Morning all, I had a bit of a lie in this morning and have only been up about an hour.
It's very grey here but we're fog free, unlike the rest of the valley. It seems like there is nothing below us, it's quite eerie !
I got all tasks done yesterday so today it's the bathroom's turn. Then I'll potter about doing probably nothing really
This afternoon I want to see if I can find some new - to - me recipes as I'm getting fed up with the same old meals. Nothing too complicated or fancy though.
I hope to read some more of my book and I also have a few films downloaded. So that's me set for the day.
Gers Happy Burns Day to you and anyone who celebrates today.
TA I must have had 2 sedate cats 'cos they never acted loopy, either that or it was soooooo bad that I've blanked it :rotfl:
Hugs to all who are in need today. Take care.

Up late again, its getting to be a habit. I have to be up on Monday want to get to the Drs early doors, need to sort out my osteo medication and also I have another infection!! seems to be about every 6 weeks.......getting ridiculous.
Quick visit to the chemist for OH, he has an ulcer where his plate rubs on his gum. He is due to get his plate cushioned in the next couple of weeks. He also wanted cough sweets.
Grey morning with quite a breeze, was glad to get back in the warm....

Good morning chum a very grey day here in Kent so I am not putting a foot across the doorstep today,No shopping needed so far so hopefully will have some cash left by next fFriday at the end of the month I too have been using up odds and ends from the freezer and had a few ....unusual meals
But it save the cash in my purse so I am happy about that. I did my 12 hour fasting blood test thursday night and had it done yesterday morning, then made the appointment for the nurse as usual, then in the afternoon had a call from the surgery to say the Dr wanted to see me instead of the nurse so I have no idea what he wants ,nothing too bad hopefully. I had my letter through about the referral to the musculoskeletal clinic yesterday as well so I had to phone to 'activate' my referral now I just have to wait for the next letter to arrive which the lady said could be between 2-12 weeks, at least I am in the system so I will be seen at some time .
Not been a brilliant week as both my stairlift and central heating broke down The stairlift man turned up at 10,45 p.m to fix it :)and the central heating chap seems to have sorted my heating out but I am not too sure how long it will last. I will be glad to see the back of this month
Roll on the spring and to daffodils They are green shoots pushing up in my back garden but its so wet and muddy out there at the moment .Strangely enough my one chrysanthemum has finally decided to flower and I have one flower on it ,weird as they are normally an autumn flower.I think the seasons are all up the creek at the moment
Right time for a cuppa I think and I want to make a tray bake for my DGS Mikey for tomorrow as he reminded me yesterday he hadn't had one for ages
Have a good day chums and keep warm and dry

Hi all,
Grey & gloomy here ( whats new).We have DGS here tonight instead of last night, I think DS is taking him trampolining in a bit. Planning on a quiet day today, DH needs a rest ,he's been out all morning looking at a job - someone wants the roof of their bungalow taking off ,extending up and turning it into a house. He has done one before. Whether they'll still want to do it once they get their estimate is another matter.
I watched some of James Martins 100th programme , bet you've been glued Nels
Dp1 glad DGD is home and smiley
Tru good to hear Scampi is settled again
DH has just come back with some pasties for us all so better eat while they're hot.Enjoy your weekend folks x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
Afternoon all,
Dry today but grey and miserable, managed to convince OH that we don't need to go shopping until Monday when we will be out anyway as he has an appointment at the hospital.......trying to keep the driving down as much as possible.
I have several wallflowers in bloom at present......they are all from a packet of seed I sowed about ten years ago which have reseeded over and over.....that's value!
DD3 took Mossy to the vet for his boosters this morning, the practice has been taken over as the main man has retired.....prices have risen too.
dp1 glad to hear that little granddaughter is home even if just for the weekend, hopefully they will sort out her health soon.
Quite a few lie ins this morning.....well done......I always seem to have a lie in at the weekend.
Enjoy your weekend
