NatWest overpayments

Hello
I was wondering if anyone knows how much I can overpay in a single lump on a NatWest mortgage before they reduce your monthly repayment? I have a feeling it's £1000 . :) Cheers

  • Hi
Natwest have a great calculator when you look online at your mortgage, it will either tell you how much your month DD will come down by or time off your mortgage - which ever you prefer.
Then when you pay it off, you also decide which you want.

    Good luck

  • Best thing would be to phone and ask or read the terms and conditions of your mortgage.

Through experience I found the mortgage adviser at the bank very helpful, just a few comments
from him gave me, what I would call - inside info :) or hints. :j

Hi jonathon! I have a Natwest mortgage and can confirm it is £1000. I made an overpayment recently of just over a £1000 and it reduced my monthly payment by a tenner.

    Hope that helps :)
