DVT question

I haven't travelled on the plane for 6 years. Couple of months ago, both legs were in pain. Right leg got better on it's own but left leg was getting worse.

Phoned GP and was sent to hospital, they said I was suffering from DVT. Got blood thinners. After a week the leg was getting better. At christmas time, the leg was getting swollen again. I'm still taking blood thinners, until I see the haematologist next month (first appointment).

What shall I do (go to AE or wait until appointment)?

Thanks

    Speak to your GP urgently.
  • None of us can offer medical advice here and Mojisola is right, you need medical advice. In fact I’d suggest going straight to casualty - when I had a single swollen leg years ago the GP just told me to go straight down from the surgery. I don’t think there’s a lot they can do by way of diagnosis. At least call into your local pharmacy and see what they say if you can’t face Casualty.
