Hello! I own a half share in a property and would like to purchase the other half. I won’t get a mortgage on my own as my self employed income is very low, I have two young children so struggle to work elsewhere as well as self employed.
My partner has absolutely terrible credit.
Will be owning a half share be of any help? We only need around £45,000 to buy him out.

If the property is not mortgaged at the moment what makes you think you cannot get a mortgage for £45,000?

The repayments will be around £200 a month and you should be earning over £10,000 a year. Have you spoken to a broker yet?
