Hello,
Hopefully within the next few months me and my partner will be applying for a mortgage, she is currently on an apprenticeship wage, but is just waiting for her certificates to confirm her being a qualified dental nurse to get her pay up and come off an apprenticeship wage, will lenders want 3 months at least of her on the new wage? Are we better just waiting until she has been getting paid for 3 months?
Thanks.

They should base it on the contract, some will want 3 months pay slips while others wont. My other half just needed 1 payslip as my wage is about 3 times hers, I needed to show 3 months wage slips.
Hope that helps.0 -
Some lennder's will even be happy to accept an emplyment contract starting in a near future as an evidence of income.0

Hi,
Thanks for the replies guys, currently trying to find out from my current lenders if they do Porting but I would need one person taking off the mortgage (my brother) to a new person on the new home (my girlfriend) she is about to become a qualified dental nurse but just waiting on certificates which they are taking the Mick. Hopefully my current lender would be willing to accept a written letter from her boss claiming what she will be on and being a permanent contract.0
