I have a dress and the clothing label brand has been removed and i'm wondering which brand it is.

It starts with the letter e in small case and looks like it ends with a d. Judging from the size of the e and d i'd guess the length of it is on the longer side about 8-10 characters, not the shorter side 3 or 4.

Any guesses would be appreciated. Thanks.

There's a thread on the Oldstyle board about charity shop bargains.
Lots of posters know about all sorts of brands, even designer and foreign. They're a savvy lot. :)
    You may get lucky there.

Trying the list but no joy as yet, still working through it, thanks.

I've worked out how to upload a pic if anyone recognises it...

    Something obscure like 'England'?
  • lol good guess, i hadn't thought of that. It is on the list but i searched for it doesn't appear to be a brand that i can find or match to the logo that's cut out.

It could well be that it's not a logo at all, just a manufacturer of clothes. Maybe an overrun from a contract and they were 'just laying about' so they sewed a generic label on to sell off so they don't upset their bulk customers? It's all guesses I'm afraid.
  • That stroke beginning the second letter narrows it down ... let's see ...

    m
    n
    r

It's too thick at the bottom of the stroke to be something like s, u, v, w, etc. - I think!

Edit: does it say on the other label where it was made?
  • Thanks Spoonie Turtle for your thoughts, that is good logic.

It says it was made in Romania.

Wouldn't you see the top of the L?
