FTB & defaults

Hello
I am looking to buy a property which is around £180k, we have £20k deposit. My partner has a squeaky clean credit record, mine not so much... I have two defaults,
1. £280 mobile phone default, listed 07/2014 but paid off 2017.
2. £40 BT, listed 2016, but paid off last month - actually trying to dispute the default as I had a 30 day rolling contract and notified them of wanting to terminate the contract. See if anything happens with the dispute.
I have two late payments in 2016 on a credit card due to a hideous accident, and having barely any pay from work at the time, but everything is up to date now and no late payments since then.
L&C don’t want to talk to me, understandably. Any hope for a mortgage?!

This feels like subject to the rest of the case, it should be possible to place on the high street.
Try a proper broker rather than a big call centre (also tends to be best to avoid estate agent based brokers).I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. agree with ACG - if that is all that is showing then that looks very doable and at normal rates
Speak to a proper broker. If you don't have one then search the boards here and pm a broker who looks as though they give good advice and can help. A lot of excellent brokers post here and while we are not allowed to contact people most of us are able to assist people who approach us first.I am a Mortgage Adviser
