    Wow, I must try the Polish food shops when I move to my new town. I saw 2 when I drove over there to view properties. I wonder how they're cheaper, as they're usually smaller so unlikely to buy in bulk, and also they are importing.

    An ex of mine was Polish and got me into delicious Polish sour cherry juice; haven't had that in about 12 years now but I loved it.

    Cherry Soplika - it's somewhere between a liqueur and a flavoured vodka. We keep a bottle in the freezer. 
    Cheeses, cured meats, pickled-just-about-anything, bakery products, frozen potato pierogies. Here at least, there are a couple of huuuuuge Polish wholesalers who deal with the skleps. Def helps keep costs down.
