Yes and no!

Yes, technically a tribunal can instruct an employer to reinstate an employee but as you say it is extremely rare.

However, if the employer ignores that instruction all the tribunal can do is award a fairly limited amount of additional compensation. So it is very different to the normal idea of a court order where, ultimately, somebody could go to prison for ignoring it!

Which is why, for simplicity in my earlier post, I said a tribunal could not force them to employ you.

To the best of my knowledge, anything in a contract of employment which goes against employment law has no legal weight, even if a contract has been signed.

That is true. But there is no evidence anything in the contract is contrary to employment law.
