Rice pudding recipe

I can make rice pudding, but I’ve never achieved that skin on the top! I need some help with it please! How do I do it? I’ve baked it and slow cooked it, never a sign of the skin.

Birds it's quite wretched, I was reminded of how dire it was at Christmas when a friend decided to serve it up (the stuff found in a packet made with water from the kettle) with an expensive Christmas pudding, which led to its ruination. Perhaps we've been spoiled by all the yummy fresh versions found in the chilled aisles but I can see why people hated it at school.
