Family Rail Card

I will be travelling alone later in the year and was looking at prices.
I have a family railcard which i use when travelling with my grandson.I have found that the cost when travelling with my grandson it is cheaper with the railcard discount than just buying one ticket (without the railcard).
Anyone know if buying the two tickets with the railcard discount but travelling alone would be against the rules.

Yes it wouldn’t be allowed. You have to travel with a child so if you get stopped by an inspector I think you’d get fined.£2 Savers Club 2020 no. 90
