aged debt - following a period of inactivity

hi to all and thank you in advance for any advice.

Back in May 2015 I made a CCA request to a credit agency and they did not provide it, so i informed them they they were now in default and I wasnt required to pay, they wrote back saying collection activity would be suspended (ive moved house since then and am trying to track down that letter, i kept copies of all the letters I sent them)

4 and a half years on they wrote to me today, ill upload a copy of the letter from my mobile after this post.

Just after some advice, there is a section on the letter that says:

"This remediation exercise in no way effects the balance of your account, your repayment agreement or your obligation to repay the balance."

Am i good to just ignore this letter as nothing has changed...
